SATURDAY OPEN GRAND PRIX
Looking to fill a Saturday afternoon with some adrenaline? Could you take the top step, on a full GP we can have 42 entries.
​
The Saturday Open Grand Prix is an open event, Open Races are scheduled events that welcome entrants from various groups. There’s no minimum or maximum group size required – whether you're joining solo, with a few friends, or in a large group, you're welcome to take part.
​
These races are a hit with stag and hen parties, as well as adult birthday celebrations, all seeking a memorable race day experience.
​
No previous experience is needed – just come ready for fun!

Drivers must be over 13 year old.

Arrival 2pm - 2:20pm
You will have an arrival time of 1 hour before your session starts, on busy sessions this is to allow us time to get all drivers registered, kitted up and the safety briefing.
​
On arrival head to reception to register for your session, you would of had a registration link emailed to you for all drivers to complete.
​
You will then head to racewear to get kitted out in race suits and crash helmets.
​
Safety briefing where we will run you through everything you need to know about Keeping drivers safe on track, Flag signals and do's and don'ts on the circuit, safety is priority.
​
Event begins.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY

RACE FORMAT
If the event has 14 or less drivers all drivers will be out on track together, if the event goes over 14 drivers we will then split drivers into groups, we will always try and get your group out together in the same groups but on full events this is not always possible. Every driver will get the same amount of track time. ​

QUALIFYING:
Time to get that fastest lap time posted, its you against all the over drivers that have entered, the amount of laps doesn't matter, this is just your fastest lap you post to set up the grids.
PRACTICE:
Chance to get a feel for the karts and the circuit layout, you will be timed but makes no difference to qualifying or race.
FINALS:
Our timing system will work out the fastest to slowest drivers creating the Final grids. Consistency is key.

Drivers will need a hygiene pack (gloves and a balaclava) we sell them here at the track for £5 for the set or £3 for the individual item, if purchased from us these will be yours to keep. You are welcome to bring your own, only gloves we don't allow are fingerless or latex. Own crash helmets are allowed. This can be added when booking your session.
